Legacy Antiques & Consignments was founded in 1988 by Judi Abbott. Judi says, “I decided to call the store Legacy because I love the idea of having a way to pass on history. A legacy needn’t be anything fancy, just something that brings the past into the present. That’s especially true with our jewelry. Some of its antique, some of it’s fine, some of its funky, it’s all interesting and unique.”
Our bright, turquoise facade not only helps you spot us as you’re driving south on 17 Business in Murrells Inlet, but it also gives you a glimpse into what you will find inside. We love being the place where you can find that one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry, furniture, home furnishing or art that spruces up your home and makes your guests ask, “That’s amazing! Where in the world did you find it?”
In 2019 the Legacy that Judi started has been passed down to her son, Sierra Abbott and his wife, Arielle.
Sierra and Arielle hope to continue to add to the joy of discovery in the 10,000 sq. ft. store.
We love to have folks come in, find something they fall in love with, and have to have it. We like to think that every piece we have on display has a legacy that wants to be shared.
